SPADREC Participates in Padel World Summit 2026, Contributing to Industry Discussions on Investment and Growth

SPADREC was proud to participate in the 2026 Padel World Summit in Barcelona, one of the leading global gatherings for the padel industry, bringing together investors, operators, brands, technology providers and key stakeholders shaping the future of the sport. Representing SPADREC were CEO Ali Al Arif and COO Sigi Meeuws, who joined industry leaders from around the world for three days of discussions focused on investment, infrastructure, innovation and the continued evolution of the global padel ecosystem. A key highlight of the summit was CEO Ali Al Arif's participation as a speaker at the Investor Forum. Ali joined fellow industry experts on the panel discussion, "Capital for Courts & Communities", where he shared insights on the role of strategic investment in developing sports infrastructure, building sustainable communities and supporting the long-term growth of padel.

The Next Phase of Padel's Growth
The conversations throughout the summit reinforced the remarkable progress padel has made over the last decade. What was once considered an emerging sport is now establishing itself as a global industry attracting increasing attention from investors, operators and international brands. As participation continues to grow across established and emerging markets, the focus is shifting beyond court development towards creating complete ecosystems that support long-term sustainability. Topics discussed throughout the event included facility operations, technology, data, community engagement, player pathways, coaching development and scalable business models. These discussions align closely with SPADREC's vision of investing in and building integrated sports and wellness platforms that create value across the entire participant journey.

Building More Than Infrastructure
One of the strongest themes emerging from this year's summit was the growing recognition that successful sports businesses are built on more than physical infrastructure alone. While courts remain the foundation of the sport, long-term success increasingly depends on the strength of the surrounding ecosystem—coaching, technology, operations, events, community engagement and participant experiences. At SPADREC, this philosophy continues to guide our investment strategy. Through our growing portfolio of sports, wellness and lifestyle businesses, we focus on creating interconnected platforms that support participation, performance and sustainable growth
